Number of open appeals on PINS’s books hits 12-month low, but planning inquiry times spike

The number of appeal cases that have been received by the Planning Inspectorate (PINS) but are yet to be determined is at its lowest level in over a year, but the average timescale for handling planning inquiries has hit a 12-month high.
