Lib Dem housing lead says national home targets have ‘demonstrably failed’

The Liberal Democrats’ housing spokesperson told a party conference fringe event that nationally set homes targets have “demonstrably failed” to deliver enough houses, the day before members rejected her attempt to revise the party’s policy to allow councils to set their own local figures.
