PINS says focus on appeal cases with ‘highest economic impact and community interest’ led to performance slump
A shift to inspectors working on cases with “the highest levels of economic impact and community interest” led to a fall in the number of planning appeals decided by written representations last year, according to the Planning Inspectorate’s (PINS’s) annual report.
