Minister announces further six-month delay to decision on A1 widening project

A transport minister has announced a second delay of six months to a decision on plans to widen a section of the A1 in Northumberland, to give the secretary of state more time to consider the recommendations of a government-commissioned review on improving transport connectivity between the UK’s nations.
