Inspector's consent for housing scheme in open countryside quashed by High Court due to 'misunderstanding' of local policy

Plans to construct 39 new homes in the open countryside in Lancashire have been blocked by the High Court after a judge found that a planning inspector had misunderstood a local planning policy in allowing the scheme on appeal.
