Council reverses 1,000-home scheme refusal after last-minute affordable housing increase

A council's planning committee has reversed a resolution to refuse a 1,000-home mixed-use scheme on a former power station site in Shropshire after the applicant made a last-minute change to the proposals, upping the level of affordable homes from five per cent to ten.
