Letter: Self-build homes have benefits, but may not boost overall housing supply

A government-commissioned review into the scaling-up of custom and self-build homes highlights the various benefits of this types of housing, including the role it can play in raising design standards, but whether it can boost overall housing supply remains doubtful, says Colin Brown
