Government planning decision-making timescales should be tightened up, Pincher suggests

Ministerial decision-making timescales should be tightened up as part of the government's planning changes, the housing minister has suggested, and said he is open to the idea that large housing schemes could use the streamlined planning regime for major infrastructure.
