Jenrick confirms that new infrastructure levy will be ‘locally set’

Housing secretary Robert Jenrick has revealed that the government will backtrack on proposals to introduce a new national infrastructure levy by announcing that it would instead put in place a system of "locally set" levies, though it still intends to replace “complex” section 106 agreements.
