Climate change ‘must be integrated into planning policy’, government advisor urges

Climate change “must be a key consideration in the government’s proposed planning reforms”, with proposals to extend permitted development rights and scrap the duty to cooperate making it more difficult to address the issue, the government's advisory body on climate change has warned.
