Plans approved for 1,380-home east London estate redevelopment

Plans have been approved for the redevelopment of a 290-home east London housing estate into a 1,380-home mixed-use development, after officers concluded that, despite harm to local heritage assets, the "significant uplift" in the number of homes, including a rise in social units, weighed heavily in the scheme's favour.
