Curtilage listed barns excluded from prior approval conversion

Prior approval for five dwellings from agricultural buildings was refused at a manor house in open countryside in Essex because two of the buildings were deemed to be curtilage listed and therefore excluded by GPDO Class Q.1 (m) and required planning permission.
