Inspectors allow Stansted expansion appeal and award costs against council

A panel of planning inspectors have allowed an appeal against an Essex council's refusal of plans for the expansion of Stansted airport and awarded costs against the authority for "unreasonable behaviour", after concluding that "UK climate change obligations would not be put at risk by the development".
