Taller and wider phone masts allowed under permitted development changes to boost 5G rollout

New and existing mobile phone masts would be allowed to be up to five metres taller and two metres wider than current planning rules permit under proposed changes to permitted development (PD) rights for electronic communications infrastructure that were published today.
