Coalition of industry leaders call for Jenrick to scrap proposed commercial to residential PD right

A proposed new permitted development right for the conversion of commercial premises to housing would "precipitate the decline" of local centres, according to a joint letter to housing secretary Robert Jenrick co-signed by leaders from high street, property and planning organisations.
