‘Make net zero outcomes a prerequisite of new development’, RTPI report urges

Net zero carbon outcomes should be a "prerequisite of new development" while greater integration between land use planning and transport is required if the UK is to meet the government’s 2050 net zero target, the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) has said in a new report.
