Housing minister warns councils of intervention risk over local plan delays

Housing minister Christopher Pincher has said he will “consider” seeking explanations from individual councils on why they have failed to produce local plans in a timely fashion and warned that the government is "committed to using all powers available" to "ensure that progress on plan making is maintained".
