Inspectors allow appeals for 450 homes on unallocated sites around Essex village

Planning inspectors have overturned two council refusals and approved plans for just under 450 homes on unallocated sites on the edge of a north Essex village, after finding that the local authority lacked both an up to date local plan and an adequate housing land supply.
