Six-month transitional period for councils subject to new housing need uplift if they have advanced plans, says fresh guidance

Local authorities that have to apply the new 35 per cent 'urban centres uplift' to their housing need levels will benefit from a six month transitional period if they are sufficiently advanced in their local plan preparation, new guidance states.
