Highways England withdraws development consent order application for new Lower Thames Crossing

Government agency Highways England has withdrawn a development consent order (DCO) application for the proposed new Lower Thames Crossing just before the Planning Inspectorate (PINS) was due to decide whether to accept the project for examination.
