Half-century-old permission invalid due to 'significant legal developments' since, Appeal Court rules
Planning permission granted more than 50 years ago for a 400-home housing estate at the edge of a national park can no longer be lawfully implemented, the Court of Appeal has ruled in a case that considered the status of old planning consents.
