Enforcement notices issued by councils plummeted between April and June, MHCLG figures show

The number of enforcement notices issued by local authorities between April and June this year dropped by more than half in the aftermath of the coronavirus lockdown compared to the previous quarter and were the lowest of any three-month period on record, government figures show.
