Sharma discounts wider climate impacts in aviation fuel pipeline consent

The energy secretary has granted development consent for a proposal to replace an underground aviation fuel pipeline between Southampton and west London, after concluding that the scheme's wider impacts on issues such as climate change were not relevant to the application.
