London mayor Sadiq Khan drops legal challenge to minister's waste incinerator expansion consent

London mayor Sadiq Khan has withdrawn his judicial review challenge to a secretary of state decision to expand an energy-from-waste (EfW) plant in south-east London, citing the "substantial costs" of proceeding.
