Affordable housing threshold increase could encourage developers to 'game the system', warns LGA

The government's proposal to raise the threshold at which housing schemes are required to make affordable housing contributions could encourage developers to "game the system" by bringing forward smaller schemes on sites capable of delivering more units, the Local Government Association (LGA) has warned.
