Lack of space requirements ‘gave permitted development rights a bad name’, Jenrick admits

The government wants to move away from the “rabbit-hutch homes” that have been allowed under permitted development rights to housebuilding that delivers on both quantity and quality, housing secretary Robert Jenrick told an online discussion at the Conservative Party conference today.
