Jenrick mulls call-in over Cumbrian coal mine consent
The secretary of state will decide the fate of a planning application for a new coal mine on a former chemical works site, after the plans were again backed by Cumbria County Council, in line with a recommendation from planners who advised that the scheme would help reduce global greenhouse gas emissions.
