Author of MHCLG report into permitted development housing quality 'deeply concerned' over new rights

The academic who led a government-commissioned review into the quality of new homes delivered through permitted development (PD) rights has said he is “deeply concerned and disappointed” by the housing ministry's move this week to extend the fast-track planning regime.
