Camden Council has submitted its revised CIL draft charging schedule for examination on 19 February 2020.
Proposed rates include:
- Small residential developments will be charged £613 per square metre.
- Three large residential development and private care home development charging zones with rates of £613, £306 and £184 per square metre.
- Two student housing development charging zones with rates of £491 and £214 per square metre.
- Two hotel development charging zones with rates of £110 and £36 per square metre.
- All retail developments are to be charged £30 per square metre.
- Two office development charging zones with rates of £110 and £30 per square metre.
- No charge for industry, warehousing, research and developments.
- All other commercial developments are to be charged £30 per square metre.
- No charge for all other uses.
