Luton holds part-virtual planning committee to allow hospital expansion plans

Luton Borough Council has held a partly-virtual planning committee to give the go-ahead to plans to expand the town hospital's acute care unit, ahead of the introduction of new laws that would allow such meetings to be held online as standard practice.
