Coronavirus: Barristers and Tory campaign guru heap pressure on government to reopen appeals system

Planning appeals can "unequivocally" be carried out within legal principles of fairness by using video or telephone technology, a group of barristers have said in a letter to the housing secretary outlining how such measures can keep the appeals system operating during the coronavirus outbreak.
