Inspector dismisses public health claims in allowing Sussex incinerator

West Sussex County Council has lost an appeal against its decision to refuse plans for a waste recycling, recovery and incineration plant, after an inspector ruled that there was "no objective justification for the perception of harm to public health" arising from the proposals.
