Chiltern and South Bucks Councils - Joint CIL examination report published

Chiltern and South Bucks Councils published its Community Infrastructure Levy examination report on 13 December 2019.

The Examiner's report on the Chiltern and South Bucks Joint CIL charging schedule found that, provided a modification was made, the schedule would provide an appropriate basis for the collection of the levy. The report was issued on 13 December 2019.

The modification was:

  • To clarify the definition of large sites that would not be subject to the charge

Approved rates include:

  • Residential developments will be charged £150 per square metre.
  • Very large residential developments will not be charged. Hotel and residential instutions will be charged £35 per square metre.
  • HMO developments will be charged £150 per square metre. Retail (A1-A5) developments will be charged £150 per square metre.
  • Business (B1-B8) developments will be charged £35 per square metre.
  • All other uses £35 per square metre.
