The Examiner's report on the Chiltern and South Bucks Joint CIL charging schedule found that, provided a modification was made, the schedule would provide an appropriate basis for the collection of the levy. The report was issued on 13 December 2019.
The modification was:
- To clarify the definition of large sites that would not be subject to the charge
Approved rates include:
- Residential developments will be charged £150 per square metre.
- Very large residential developments will not be charged. Hotel and residential instutions will be charged £35 per square metre.
- HMO developments will be charged £150 per square metre. Retail (A1-A5) developments will be charged £150 per square metre.
- Business (B1-B8) developments will be charged £35 per square metre.
- All other uses £35 per square metre.
