Ministerial decision delays partly behind major infrastructure case pile-up, says PINS chief

Thirty applications are currently live within the streamlined planning regime for major infrastructure, partly due to delays caused by ministers requesting more information at the decision-making stage, the Planning Inspectorate's (PINS's) head of operations has said.
