12ha Lincs animal rendering plant refused despite economic benefits

Plans for an animal rendering plant, which attracted an objection from the housing secretary, have been refused despite recognition that the scheme would be unlikely to have adverse odour or air quality impacts and would see "significant investment" in the local economy.
