Figures reveal wide variation in refusal rates for retrospective applications across UK

Refusal rates for retrospective planning consents vary wildly across the UK, from just three per cent in Scotland and Northern Ireland to 21 per cent in London and 28 per cent in Wales, according to data published by an insurance firm.
