400 North Yorkshire homes approved after planners warn members of out-of-date policies

Plans have been approved for 400 homes on a greenfield site in North Yorkshire after planners advised that, although the council could demonstrate a five-year housing land supply, key housing policies were out-of-date and, as such, the National Planning Policy Framework's 'tilted balance' applied in favour of the application.
