Conservation area character weighed above benefits of redevelopment

An office-led mixed use redevelopment in a canalside conservation area in north London was refused for harm to the character and appearance of the surrounding conservation area and other harms, not outweighed by the public benefits of the proposals, despite the site's location in a designated employment area and the design being supported by the Mayor of London.
