Go-ahead for 55ha business park on unallocated countryside site

Plans have been approved for a business park on a 55-hectare site on the edge of Newton Aycliffe in County Durham, despite a recognition from planners that the site lies outside any designated employment allocation and is "effectively in the open countryside".
