Why PINS' performance on appeal timescales dipped in the last year

The latest annual report from the Planning Inspectorate (PINS) shows that its performance on planning appeal timescales declined in 2018/19, with increased local plan work identified as a key reason behind growing delays. But practitioners said they expect PINS' performance to show improvement this year.
