Inspector calls on Calderdale to review standard method-based housing target

A planning inspector has told a Yorkshire council that its draft local plan housing need figure, based on the government's standard method for assessing housing need, falls below that required to match the level of employment growth proposed and should be increased by at least 160 homes per year.
