London mayor gives green light to plans for 600-home Olympic Park cultural quarter

Plans for a major new cultural district at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, which would become home to the Victoria and Albert Museum, the BBC, Sadler's Wells dance theatre and the London College of Fashion, as well as 600 homes, have been approved by the mayor of London.
