Southwark approves 44-storey 1,300-home Old Kent Road scheme

Plans have been approved for a 1,300-home mixed-use development rising up to 44 storeys on an industrial site in London's Old Kent Road area after officers concluded that the scheme's regeneration benefits outweighed its harms, including the loss of daylight to neighbouring properties.
