New Amber Valley leadership warned over £1.4m 'high risk' of scrapping local plan

Officers at a Derbyshire council have warned an incoming Labour administration that implementing election promises to reverse proposed green belt releases in an emerging local plan would mean withdrawing the document from examination and starting again, at a cost of £1.4 million and potential ministerial intervention.
