Brokenshire's call-in announcement a 'slap in the face for openness', say campaigners

The heritage group that won a High Court case prompting the government to announce it will no longer give reasons for deciding whether to call-in planning applications has blasted the move as a "slap in the face for openness" and a "backwards step".
