The scheme incorporated 17 parking spaces of which four would be available at peak demand when students were dropping off or collecting their possessions. An inspector was satisfied that a tenancy agreement and management plan which prevented students from owning and having access to a car other than those with a confirmed physical disability, would ensure that this would limit the demand for on-street parking in the area. Additionally the design of the scheme would respect the character of the area.
