Hunter Page Planning acquired by construction consultancy

Planning consultancy Hunter Page Planning (HPP) has been acquired by property and construction consultants Ridge and Partners.

According to a joint statement from the firms, Ridge employs over 600 people with 10 offices across the UK in Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Leicester, Liverpool, London, Manchester, Oxford, Reading and Winchester. The firm also operates internationally.

HPP is based in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, and employs over 20 staff, including 12 chartered town planners and four licentiate/student planners.

According to the statement, the former directors of HPP are now partners of Ridge and will form the management team for the Ridge planning service. There will be no job losses, the companies confirmed.

Adrian O’Hickey, senior partner at Ridge said "We believe bringing HPP into the Ridge business will be a great success, enabling us to offer an even broader range of specialist services to our clients.
