195 homes allowed following High Court quashing of previous refusal

An outline scheme for up to 195 new homes was approved adjoining a service settlement in Leicestershire in a reversal of a previous decision quashed by the High Court last year. The changed five-year housing land supply position tilted the balance in favour of the scheme when the weight to be afforded the local plan policies was re-examined. A partial award of costs was granted to the appellant.
