Stogumber Neighbourhood Development Plan - Referendum results published

The referendum result on the Stogumber neighbourhood development plan was published on 5 October 2017.

In a referendum on whether West Somerset District Council should use the Stogumber neighbourhood plan there was a 59.6% vote in favour of using the plan. The referendum was held on 5 October 2017 and had a turnout of 33.9%.

The Examiner's report on the Stogumber neighourhood plan was issued to West Somerset District Council on 30 May 2017. The Examiner found that provided modifications were made the plan could proceed to a referendum.

Stogumber Parish Council had submitted their draft neighbourhood plan to West Somerset District Council who publicised the plan for a consultation that took place between 18 November 2016 and 13 January 2017.

Stogumber Parish Council had published their pre-submission draft neighbourhood plan for a previous round of consultation that took place between December 2015 and January 2016.

The application from Stogumber Parish Council to be the designated body to produce the neighbourhood development plan was approved by West Somerset District Council on 3 June 2014.
