The topic of the conference, which takes place on 4 October, is How to Plan to Make Housing Delivery Happen. It focuses on the implications of the government's drive to make planning authorities and developers ensure that the required homes are not only planned for but also delivered.
Delegates will hear senior speakers discuss the implications of the proposed housing delivery test, the housing white paper and other relevant government policy changes.
Peters will speak at a session looking at how planners can deliver the right mix of market and affordable housing in the right places.
Apart from Peters, other speakers include: Berkeley Group chairman, Tony Pidgley; Department for Communities and Local Government's chief planner, Steve Quartermain; National Infrastructure Commission chief executive, Phil Graham; Homes and Communities Agency director of accelerated construction, Stephen Kinsella; Local Plans Expert Group chair, John Rhodes and Transport for London property development director, Lester Hampson.
